Mike Tucker will work full time with Faith for Today. Kevin Wells, who has been the associate pastor of the Arlington Texas Church, has been appointed senior pastor to take his place. Allan Martin, from the Theological Seminary at Andrews University, will become a part of the pastoral staff.
Conferences —
Steve Haley, VP Administration in Georgia-Cumberland Conference, has accepted the call to be president of Kentucky-Tennessee Conference. Steve is in the middle of preaching an evangelistic meeting in east Tennessee and will conclude those meetings in two weeks.
Mike Cauley, president, Carmen Rodriguez, secretary, and Duane Rollins, treasurer, were all re-elected at the Florida Conference Constituency meeting. We praise the Lord for these leaders.

We are saddened to announce the death of Elder James E. Chase, former communication director of the General Conference and former president of the Missouri, Northern California and Washington Conferences. He passed away September 11 in Loma Linda, California. Two memorial services will be held in California: this coming Sabbath, Oct. 3, at 3:30 in Modesto at Parkwood SDA Church, and then in Loma Linda at Linda Valley Villa, Oct. 7.
